836-B9-148 Writing and dance movement as a potential scenario for autobiographical construction in elderly people

Objetivo:
Descripción:
An investigation is proposed on the contribution of art in self-reflection and in the reconstruction of history itself through autobiographical narration, in older adults in the canton of San Ramón. The possibilities that dance and literature offer to the reconstruction of subjectivity will be investigated, as well as the importance that artistic production would have for a group of older adults, who represent a community marked by the characteristics of a town close to literature and art in general.
The opening of two artistic workshops is planned, a dancing one and a literature one, aimed at the elderly population of the canton of San Ramón (who have lived in the area since childhood), with the aim of building collective works that are seen crossed by the autobiographical, which will be analyzed later through a psychoanalytic reading and using methodologies linked to art, writing, and movement. It is clarified that the character of these workshops and their activities do not respond to the recreational or the therapeutic itself, despite the fact that these autobiographical narrative techniques bring benefits in emotional health and understanding of themselves; The ultimate goal is to be able to understand more about this process that occurs in the reconstruction of oneself and the value of art as a means to achieve it, with personal and community benefits being a rebound effect that will not be left out of the analysis.
